Competiflow
Structured competitor monitoring with AI severity scoring, delivered to your dashboard, Slack or agents via MCP.
Solo founders, product-marketing managers and small competitive-intel teams that need structured, low-noise competitor alerts and want an MCP/API surface for agent workflows without paying Klue/Crayon-tier prices.
Large enterprises needing SOC2/on-prem guarantees, teams tracking hundreds of competitors that outgrow the 100-page Pro cap, or buyers who require full disclosure of the underlying LLM.
Competiflow is a competitor-intelligence platform that monitors rival websites for meaningful changes — pricing edits, new plan names, homepage messaging shifts, blog posts, docs updates and changelog entries — and pushes AI-summarised, severity-scored alerts to your dashboard, inbox, Slack or webhook endpoint. Instead of pixel-diffing (which spams alerts every time a banner moves), it uses a real headless browser to render JS-heavy and gated pages, extracts normalised structured fields (prices, plan tiers, post titles, changelog items), and only fires when one of those fields actually changes. Each alert ships with 'receipts': the verbatim before/after text, source URL and timestamp, so a PMM or founder can drop the diff straight into a battlecard or Slack thread without re-verifying.
An AI layer on top writes a short 'why it matters' interpretation and assigns a severity score; the Growth and Pro tiers additionally run SEO opportunity analysis on new competitor content (keyword volume, difficulty, intent ranking) so you can see which posts are actually worth countering. The web dashboard surfaces a needs-review queue, per-competitor momentum, and activity heatmaps.
Beyond humans, Competiflow exposes a REST API, signed webhooks and an MCP server with 18 tools, so autonomous agents (Claude, Cursor, custom LangGraph flows) can query competitor state, subscribe to changes and feed intel into downstream CRM or research workflows. It positions itself between cheap generic page-watchers like Visualping/Distill and enterprise suites like Klue/Crayon that start around $15k/year, aiming at solo founders, product-marketing teams and small competitive-intel functions that want structured competitor signal without an enterprise contract.
Competiflow's core bet — extract structured fields first, diff second — is the right one, and it's the reason its alerts actually feel worth reading versus Visualping-style noise. The MCP server is a genuinely forward-looking touch for agent pipelines. I'd like to see the model stack disclosed and a higher-volume tier, but at $19-$99/mo it's a defensible pick for lean CI teams.

Pros
- ✅ Structured-field extraction filters out cosmetic diffs that spam traditional page-watchers
- ✅ Every change ships with verbatim before/after receipts, source URL and timestamp
- ✅ Real headless-browser rendering handles JS-heavy SPA pricing pages and gated docs
- ✅ AI severity scoring and 'why it matters' notes cut triage time for PMMs
- ✅ MCP server with 18 tools plus REST API and signed webhooks make it agent-ready
- ✅ Transparent, self-serve pricing that undercuts Klue/Crayon-tier enterprise CI suites
- ✅ Slack, email digest and webhook delivery cover most existing team workflows
Cons
- ⚠️ Underlying LLM is not disclosed, so buyers can't audit reasoning quality or data handling
- ⚠️ Page and check quotas are tight on Starter (20 pages / 2k checks) for larger competitor sets
- ⚠️ Unused checks expire at period end rather than rolling over
- ⚠️ SEO opportunity analysis and hourly frequency are gated to Growth/Pro tiers
- ⚠️ Residential-proxy scraping (Pro only) may still hit hardened anti-bot defences on some targets
- ⚠️ No public enterprise tier, SOC2 statement or on-prem option visible for regulated buyers
