Editorial policy
How The AI Tool Bible is written, where AI is involved, and how we handle links, submissions, reviews and corrections. The scoring and verification method is on the methodology page.
Who writes this site
Content is published by the AI Tool Bible editorial team. We do not attribute pages to named individuals. The team drafts with AI assistance and oversees the output, but we do not claim a person has read every one of the 914 profiles: see the AI-generated content section below for exactly which parts are machine-drafted.
Independence and outbound links
The "Visit website" button on a tool page goes to /go/<tool>, which logs the click (a hash of the IP address, the referring page and the browser string, not your email or account) and then redirects to the vendor's own website address exactly as stored in our database. It adds no affiliate or tracking parameters to that address. There are no affiliate links on this site. Outbound links are tagged nofollow and sponsored.
Nothing on this site sells placement: there is no paid listing, paid featured slot or sponsored ranking in the submission form or anywhere else in the product. The "Featured" flag is an editorial flag and cannot be bought, and vendors cannot pay to change a score or an ordering.
One thing you will see: a banner above the site navigation promotes a WordPress repair service at web.vincony.com. It is labelled "Sponsored" and is an advertisement for another service from the site's publisher. It is not a tool listing and has no effect on scores or rankings.
Tool submissions
Anyone can suggest a tool on the submit page. A submission goes into a review queue as pending, along with the submitter's email so we can reply. It is checked for being a real product with a working website and a substantive description, and it may be declined. Submitting does not guarantee a listing, a score or a date by which we will review it, and submitting does not cost anything.
Reader reviews
Reader reviews are moderated before they are published. Reviews written by the editorial account are labelled "Editor" and never count toward ratings. Reader reviews are opinions of individual users and are separate from our 0β10 score, which is a rule-based score with AI-assisted inputs and not a user rating.
AI-generated content
- Auto-enriched profiles (611 of 914 tools). Drafted by software from the vendor's website and public sources. They are not yet editorially reviewed and carry no verified badge.
- "In short" summaries and FAQ answers. Written by a language model from the profile's own fields. Before an answer is stored it must share at least three content words with the source fields. This reduces invented content but does not prove an answer is true.
- Scores. A rule-based formula over profile fields, whose inputs were drafted with AI assistance; 217 tools are deliberately unscored. See methodology.
- Editorially verified profiles (281). These passed our editorial promotion checks (known brand or source list, live website, category and pricing tier confirmed). This is not a claim that we have used the product hands-on, and the profile text was still drafted with AI assistance.
Corrections
If something is wrong, tell us through the contact page with the tool name and the correction. When we confirm a change we update the profile. Tools that shut down, are acquired or are renamed are tracked on the discontinued page. Always confirm pricing and capabilities with the vendor before buying.
