AI Toolbox

AI Toolbox is a browser extension (Chrome, with wider Chromium support) that layers organization, search, and workflow features on top of four consumer LLM chat interfaces: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Grok. It does not host its own model or generate text; instead it treats each vendor's web UI as a workspace and fills in the productivity gaps power users hit once their chat history grows past a few dozen threads. Core features include nested folders and smart tags for conversations, full-text search across message bodies (native search on all four platforms only indexes titles), one-click export of individual chats or whole folders to TXT, Markdown, JSON, or PDF, reusable prompt templates with variables, prompt chaining to run multi-step sequences without hand-copying outputs, per-conversation bookmarks that anchor to a specific message, an artifact vault that collects Claude's generated code and documents in one place, context @-mentions to pull an older thread into the current one, and small quality-of-life fixes like Gemini watermark removal on exported images. Data is stored locally in the browser rather than on a vendor server, so it works without an account and does not proxy your prompts through a third party. Typical users are heavy ChatGPT/Claude users, prompt engineers building reusable libraries, consultants who need to hand off transcripts as deliverables, and small teams that want a shared prompt playbook across whichever model they happen to be using that day.
